I’ve been teaching IB Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches at both Higher and Standard Level for many years. Every student comes to me with a slightly different problem — sometimes there are gaps in the mathematics, sometimes it’s confidence, and sometimes they understand the work but struggle to apply it when the question changes.
My job is to work out which of those things is getting in the way and then teach accordingly.

Who is the IB Maths AA Bridging Programme for?
This is particularly useful for students who are about to start IB Maths AA and aren’t sure whether their current mathematics is strong enough for the course. Some students have good GCSE results but haven’t yet developed the algebraic fluency or problem-solving habits that IB requires. Others simply want to start the Diploma feeling prepared rather than spend the first term trying to catch up.
